The Privilege and the Responsibility of  “Place”

 

I must never forget that I am the only person on this earth that occupies the place I am in. This place is mine alone. And I am here for a unique purpose.

 

This is my privilege . . . right here . . . right now.

 

From this understanding flows gratefulness and awareness.

 

I must always remember the connectedness I have in this place to so many people in so many ways. What I say, what I do, and how I do things impacts so many.

 

This is my responsibility . . . right here . . . right now.

 

From this understanding flows humility and resolve.
