A Heart Afire

“Oh, Love that fires the sun,

Keep me burning.”

“Someday, after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, we shall harness for God, the energies of Love, and then, for a second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire.”
(Pierre Teilhard de Chardin)

A heart afire? What would that look like? Would that person have certain identifiable traits, visible expressions of an awakened heart, an alert consciousness, and an alive state of being?

I’d like to suggest that this would be a life undergirded with compassion, gentleness, and tenderness; evidenced by uncomprised integrity, equality, peace, simplicity, and community.
Our individual lives are created by our intentions.
Our communities are created by our collective intentions.
Our world is created by its own collective intention.

Our intentions are identified by what we pay attention to so that we care enough to take action.

Our attention nurtures our intention. What we pay attention to grows. Our intention is what creates our reality.

Much of what does not happen in this world is because we never intended it.

Is your world full of Compassion, Gentleness, and Tenderness; or hate, jealousy, and competition?
Is your world full of Peace; or violence?
Is your world full of Integrity; or dis-integrity (disintegration)?
Is your world full of Equality; or judgement and prejudice?
Is your world full of Simplicity; or greed and materialism?
Is your world full of Community; or individualism and disconnection?

What is YOUR intention in YOUR world?
